The Influence of Games on Children´s Psychomotor Development.

The importance of a game for a child{\crq}s development is dealt with in the thesis. The theoretical part describes the historical development of a game and toys, together with the scientific view of a game{\crq}s role in a child{\crq}s life. Furthermore, it concentrates on various criteria for dividing games as well as on the development of a game and options of using miscellaneous game types in individual stages of a child{\crq}s development, of the thesis firstly gives a brief view into the natural playing environment issue and then focuses on the utilisation of the suitable environment for a game and the possibilities of using playing areas in České Budějovice. The practical part summarises parents{\crq} opinions on the contribution of establishing children{\crq}s playgrounds.
Didactic game in contemporary pedagogy

The thesis discusses didactic game applied in kindergartens and primary schools in the context of current educational system. The author's objective was to determine differences between employing didactic play in kindergartens and primary schools. Another objective was to verify whether teachers recognise didactic game as an adequate educational method and to ascertain whether didactic game fulfils its activation function in primary schools. Observation and interviewing were used as appropriate methods to conduct the research and collect the data. More specifically the author conducted observations in the pre-school kindergarten classes and the first three grades of primary schools, interviews with kindergarten and primary school teachers, and comparisons between classes where didactic game was used and where it was not. The following conclusions were made: the main difference in applying didactic game in a kindergarten and primary school is the teacher's approach to the assignment of the didactic game and subsequently the children's or pupils' perception. Kindergarten teachers consider didactic game to be a fundamental educational method, whereas in primary schools it is of similar importance as other methods. Models of the comic in Hašek's novel "Švejk" compared with the top satirical works of the Bulgarian, Russian and Serbian fiction

The conceptual approach in the methodology of the exploration is based on the conviction that the core of the fictional magic in Hašek's "Švejk" is precisely the comic. The aim is to summarize theoretical bases and current findings in this topic, to help extend this findings and to highlight the importace of play for children with multiple disabilities. In the context of the theory, findings of research and methodologically oriented publications is a play in children with multiple disabilities explored through the case study, which involve the analysis of play four preschool children with multiple disabilities in children's daily rehabilitation care. The thesis attention to the specifics of play in children with multiple disabilities, how is development of play in these children is and what factors influence the development. The Game in the Filosofical and Pedagogical Reflection and Use of Simulation Games in Social Sciences Teaching

This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of human game, from several points of view, namely philosophical, pedagogical and didactic. The work is structured into three parts. The theoretical part deals with the philosophical considerations concerning the game phenomenon, where the game is based mainly on the ontological principle and the game theory, which is analyzed by selected authors. The second part then deals with the game used in the pedagogical processes, or the game as a teaching method in the field of social science and its importance in teaching at primary and secondary schools. The practical part is focused on simulation games implementation within the social science - education.

History and Play in Lord Byron's Dramas

History is a major point of inquiry and exploration in all Byron's major, and many of his minor, works. Byron understands and conceptualizes history and its tight and troubled relationship with literature, drawing attention to the literariness of history and the historicity of literature in his wake. The aspiration to the 'truth' of history is, for Byron, a highly creative process, highlighting the cross-pollination of fact and fiction, and also exploring history's inherent theatricality. Historical writing shapes but, crucially, also distorts our understanding of history. The dramatic works of Lord Byron are, on the whole, traditionally the least critically explored territory of his oeuvre. Byron's singular understanding and conceptualization of history in his dramas is the focus of this study, comprising the seven dramatic works he wrote between 1820 and 1822. As this thesis shows, these dramas make up a dynamic dramatic project, creating a space of formal, discursive and thematic experimentation, which reveals not only Byron's intense involvement in matters of drama but also, in a wider perspective, his understanding and treatment of history. Pervasivity in Live Art

The aim of this thesis is to offer an application of the concept of pervasivity on the field of live art. The first chapter introduces the concept as it was defined in the field of game studies, mainly by scholars of Tampere school. To fill this aim it makes use of terminology coming chiefly from social sciences. The second chapter describes the relationship between game and theatre including their common as well as dissimilar features and then adapts the pervasivity concept for the theatre field. The third chapter brings possible applications of the concept by presenting three examples of a piece's confrontation of everydayness: through accentation, fabrication and construction. The conclusion sums up possible pervasive moments in the examined pieces of art.
